The Regional Police Groningen is a modern service organisation with approximately 1600 employees. The police force wants to actively improve the security and quality of life in the province of Groningen.
The organisation consists of three districts, two divisions, three supportive services, staff support and the commanding unit.
The objectives of the police force are primarily based on these important aspects: security, quality of life, social integrity, quality of services and public order. Additionally, the police force wants to achieve results in the operational management.

In short, the Regional Police Groningen is a police force that is always in motion and wants to work, in cooperation with citizens, towards a Groningen that is safe, sound and fit to live in.
